Gorgeous hotel with amazing architecture inside. The staff were all absolutely lovely. Food in the restaurant was beautiful, there is a pianist most nights, and the staff there were super friendly and great to talk to. Mansa and Ergus were lovely and so helpful, as were the reception and spa staff. Nothing was too much trouble. The massage and spa were a live saver after long walks in the city. Would definitely recommend and will return if I’m in Rome again.

The pictures make the rooms look much newer and nicer. The walls had serious water damage and obvious mold. If you are mold sensitive you will be miserable. There werw cigarette burns all over the carpet. The air conditioning broke twice during a three night stay. We had three different rooms in our group and they were all bad and all had mold and air conditioning problems. We couldnt open the window. One shutter was broken and the window sill was covered in tiny red spiders. Also, don't take any restaurant recommendations from the staff. The place they sent us was gross. Definitely don't waste your money on a suite. They are criminally over priced for what you get. The "jacuzzi" tub wouldn't drain, the bed is hard, and the blankets are thin, scratchy rags. Everything was broken, or torn, or chipped. The location is not convenient. The staff was nice. That's the only reason for a 2 instead of 1 star review

My husband and I visited this hotel for my 43rd birthday as a suprise. The hotel staff worked with my husband by email to make the trip special. They filled every request from chocolate covered strawberries to massages. The staff was pleasant and accommodating. The hotel was beautiful and clean. The room was cleaned daily and our belongings were unbothered. I definitely will be returning to this hotel. I could not have asked for a more pleasant stay.

The staff are very friendly. Our room wasn’t ready as we were early, the receptionist told us it would be ready in 20 mins. We left our luggage and went exploring the surrounding area. When we returned our luggage was already in our room, a nice touch. The room was a side room on the 3rd floor with a round bed that was a novelty at first but not to my liking as the week progressed. The bathroom was spacious with a really good shower and the towels were changed every day as was the bed clothes. We never had dinner here but did have breakfast every morning. The hot choices included scrambled eggs and bacon, and boiled egg. They were not very warm tbh but tasted fine. There was a good choice of cold meats and cheeses, breads and cereal. Something for everyone. We never went for a drink at the bar as it was quite quiet. There is noise from the traffic at night and the blue light ambulances but the hotel was not noisy at all. We had a great stay and would return but it lacks a few things to be 4 star. We knew there was no kettle in the room so brought our own tea, coffee, and travel kettle. We got a small bottle of milk from the supermarket and kept this in the mini bar fridge. Under the bed was unclean and dusty and the reception stairs are leading up from the street so you have to lift up your case, unsure if wheelchair access is elsewhere. Don’t let this put you off, it’s a nice hotel is a prime location for public transport and to walk to the sights.

From first contact all very friendly and helpful. Given a map with tourist attractions and routes highlighted. Breakfast was very good with a wide variety of food on offer. Night's in the beautiful hotel bar was very relaxing with piano music, and eager to play your choice of music. A wonderful enjoyable visit and cannot wait for a return .
